No one would sub my DJ shift, so I missed Pinback tonight. Tomorrow I'm seeing Black Kids. Maybe I'll see Stereolab Saturday, it depends on a few factors. Tuesday Fleet Foxes are playing but to see that would involve finding a sub again. Next Thursday is Okkervil River, and I'll list beyond that later.

^ I think I might be seeing Okkervil River two Tuesdays from now. It all depends who I can get to go with me, though.

I did! It was a fun show. It wasn't amazing, so I don't know what else to say about it, but it was nice and danceable. And they did a cover of The Magnetic Fields' "Strange Powers," which I appreciated, particularly since I'm seeing them soon.

My friend who's at Berekely didn't get to see Jason Mraz (the day before yesterday) either because of her midterms. But at least she heard his beautiful voice (the stadium was only 5 min from her dorm room).

I saw Ting Tings on Saturday! It was awesomeeeee. I'm also probably going to see Diplo next... Wednesday, I think it is.

Hope to see Cobra Starship in a few weeks. Probably won't happen. If not I hope to get back from Florida in time to go to an All Time Low concert in December. A certain friend of mine is rumored to have eleven free tickets...we'll see how many he has left by the time the concert rolls around...

only concert i would ever want to go to is daft punk. otherwise, i hate being in large group of sweaty people. i'm also scared i might hate them because they suck live.

I would never pay to see a DJ concert. It kind of defeats the purpose, you know? It's like I can hear a DJ in a club for free/cheaper. I saw Moby DJ at a club in Chelsea for $5.
