haha the mouseover and cursor aren't everything, they're just scripts ;) the idea is good.... i think the thing that bugs me most is the scrollbar being so bulky and gray. oh well, first layout? keep on working with it.

1. The popup message is annoying.
2. The black bg on the white font is just not....umm....right. instead, just make a regular black link. the hover graphic link will just slow down the site.
3. Layout is plain.
