In other words, it's going to be a new spinoff of Heroes between Season 1 and 2, with new characters that you get to pick. I guess this is gonna be a good time filler between seasons.

awesome i had no idea about this. lol but i think shows do deserve a break so that next season they have a fresh start. i feel with origins it will give us something to watch but some people might get tired of it before season 2.

Awesome. This is going to be a really interesting to watch. Every newcomer in each episode in Heroes: Origin. o.O

If we're able to know the heroes before they're put into the series, it won't be as exciting seeing them for the first time on the actual show. :(

I think this is going to be in the middle of the second season, or during the mid-season hiatus; so not during the summer.
But, I am still excited, as Heroes has become my favorite show.

Right at the beginning of the Fall season, so Septemeber-ish, and the regular season will start in January.

No, it's going to be like how Linda said earlier:
I think a more accurate date would be January (although I didn't watch the show when it was on the actual TV [I did watch the episodes in one weekend last month, OMG amazing!] so I don't know around what time last season they took their hiatus).

have some of you actually read the wikipedia article? because it already explains that its going to air during the mid season hiatus so that they wont lose any viewers/ratings like last season when it didnt air for weeks.
