Ok I have this really good friend (lets just call her kim) kim. Everytime I like/date someone she ALWAYS dislikes and makes fun of him. Today I told her that I really liked my ex again and she started making fun of him saying "eww his hairs greasy", "ew he smells" or "hes so stuck up." And hes not stuck up, have greasy hair, or bo. She doesent even talk to him, and because hes one of the "popular guys" at our school she automatically thinks hes stuck up. Hes really sweet, funny and the least bit stuck up. Remember she does this with EVERY boy I date or like. After school she started texting me saying he smelled and stuff. I told her off. A hour or so later she was asking:

Kim: Are you mad at me?
Me: What do you think?
Kim: Ya?
Me:Bingo
Kim:Omg Brook! Why are you getting mad at me!
Me: You are always saying shit about the guys I like and im SICK OF IT!
Kim: -brings out the whole if -you-were-my-frined-you-wouldent-be-mad-at-me role-
Me: -didnt respond-
Kim: So were not frineds anymore?
Me: uhh
Kim: well how long will it take you to get over it?
Me: Idk. so are we still frineds?
Kim: idc

And im not sure weather or not I should like be her frined or what because im getting pretty tired of all the drama and idk what to do. Any advice?

hmmm....if she really is your "good" friend then why does she kept on critizing on guys you like? i mean if shes your "good" friend, she should be "happy" for you instead of making fun of your boyfriends or your ex's or any guys you like, that doesnt seem like a "good" friend to me, i mean you could still be friends with her, but not as close as you use to be with her, you know what i mean?
deplorable
i have to agree with the above... but just remember, bf come and go but youll always have your friends. if shes nice ( and a bit more mature?) when it comes to everything else, just make sure you dont mention your ctushes or relationships with her....
HelloSunshine
I agree with both of what was said ^

Maybe she didn't realize that it hurt you so much. I'd say try and work things out with her, and ask her not to make fun of them. If she does it though, distance yourself from her. Also, try and find out why she was dissing all your crushes.

i agree with everything that's been said. it's your life. she isn't in control of it and she has no say-so in your decisions that you make. it's your choices, not her's.
maybe she is just jelous of you or something. that's what it appears to be to me.

Wow, you sound like you are in middle school. Usually boys are not worth losing a friend over, especially if she's supposed to be your best friend. I say take a look at these guys and see if there really are flaws to them. She may be jealous, or just watching out for. A lot of the time we block out what we don't want to see in people and it takes an outsider to let us know when we are wrong.

That being said, if there really is nothing wrong with the guys you like, I am sure there is an underlying cause for this. Ask whats really bothering her, maybe she is afraid of losing you?

I say tell her to stop causing trouble and if she doesn't, drop her like a rock. Friends don't do that to eachother. Sit her down and explain this to her, and maybe she'll get the idea.

Well, for me it's not about whether she knows or not that she's upsetting you. It's about what she thinks and she for whatever reason seems to not like the guys you fancy. Maybe she's secretly jealous or something.

At least you told her straight up how you feel but it seems like she won't stop saying it. True friends don't do that, whether there happy or not with your interests and decisions they are still supportive and behind you. Thats true friends.

I'd say "kim" is a fake. I had a friendship problem too...but in the end I knew what I did was right. And so I'm saying to you, she's a fake cause she's judging people. I would tell her off and say like what if i didn't know YOU i'd judge you too....and i wouldn't be scared when i say it. I wouldn't regret it. It's allright...If you screw up, see who's still there for you...those will be your real friends.

I usually go to a gay bar and pick up hairy black men.

I always put out on the first date. whistling.gif
