Do you need to warm up before playing a certain sport or doing an activity? I know for me, I need to warm up before I play handball or else I suck.

Yeah, I have to stretch a bit before running the mile or else I will slow down and cramp up. :(

Yes, of course.
If I don't warm up before I go for a run, I normally get really cramped up or feel my legs are stiff or what not.

Ya softball, we have, I'd have to stretch my arms and legs.

Of course. For dance, one always needs some sort of stretch or warmup. For my hiphop class we have a set warmup kind of dance, and then for my old jazz classes we have squats, situps, and stretches, etc...

Kinda like those people that take a longer time to stretch than the time they are in the pool.

It would be pretty amusing if I tried to dance or do gymnastics without stretching.

Yep. I used to be on the swim team, and we always did a 200 easy warm-up. Otherwise, I'd be stiff.
