Well you guys are all saying they couldn't handle a kid. I don't think they intend on having children at 14, but that is true, most 14 year olds are immature. Too immature to understand the consequences of sex.

it depends on the person. some 14 year olds are mature, it just depends on the person. Though I definatly don't think 10 year olds should have sex. or even 13 year olds. But fourteen maybe, I think if you understand the consequenses, use protection, and understand what you are giving up then go ahead. But I don't think you should have sex for any reason except that you feel ready, not because everyone else is doing it.

From what I understood in your post (which was hard by the way), I agree. At fourteen year old, you're just beginning to hit puberty, yet you feel you're old enough to have sex? I don't know.

I know that I shouldn't judge, but I find it a little disturbing that any 14 year old is having sex. I just wonder what type of society we will have in generations to come with 14 year olds engaging in accepted, pre marital sex. I mean, how will they raise their children? I don't find it to be beneficial to society, but then again, what the hell do I know about what benefits society?

I wouldn't feel right having sex when I'm this young, but that's just me. It may be right for someone else.
For the most part, I think it's a serious mistake for someone my age to have sex. Girls especially can be emotionally damaged at such a confusing stage of life.

I don't think it's wrong personally. If you feel ready to have sex, and you go about it in a responsible way, then I think it's fine. It's when people, we have a few of them in my area, have sex with anybody they can, unprotected and frequently, that people should worry. It's not peoples age that makes the difference, it's how people go about it. :]

I think that's too young to have sex..for me at least. But then again, I'm not them. I guess it's up to the person. If they feel they're ready then they should go for it.

Age is a only number, although it usually reflects the experiences a person has had in their life and what they have taken from it.
I think when to have sex depends on both of the people and their mental age, their devotion to each other, and their readiness to have a baby.

That said. I personally don't think anyone should even know HOW to have sex at 14, let alone engage in it. I have seen too many young kids having babies.
