i put my bubble tea in the microwave for 4 minutes the other day so it could melt, lmao. we put bubble tea in the freezer when no one drinks it when its in the fridge

also sometimes when i get my bubble tea, depending on what flavor i get, the tapioca is like..frozen so when the rice cooker thing is on, i just hold my bubble tea over the hot steam for it to melt ^-----^

There's a taiwanese-style 'tea inn' near college so I can enjoy bubble tea regularly.

^ I went with her! I got a strawberry green tea with pearls + Mango Stars.
I always feel like I get tricked when I have bubble tea. Like, what else could I get for $3.75? A whole lot of better things. I think bubble tea is grossly overpriced.
They really ought to have half-size servings.

Gah same here!
The bubble tea chain here no longer provides small-size servings, but only regular and large. Which means we have to pay more now (cos I used to buy small only).

Mango stars, exactly what it sounds like - mango pieces cut into star-shapes around the same size as the pearls. Delicious. I prefer them over the pearls actually. I think they're too big.

Orange and mango together = so good! I think all orange fruits are good: oranges, tangerines, cantaloupes, mangoes, papayas, etc.

yeah it's 3.75 here too (chicago), but the portion they give you is HUGE. you know those big evian bottles? yeah, it's like a little taller than that... but in a mug. it's a GIANT mug! i think there's only that size at joy yee's.

I was seriously considering bubble tea after I binged (fringed?! Joanne? LOL!) on a huuuuuge meal at Sushi Town last night. I almost did it, but my friends didn't want to. Or they were joking.

^ Haha, my mentioning bubble tea was a joke... because the last time I went to Sushi Town with Chuiee, we were both STUFFED TO THE MAX and I said I wouldn't get bubble-tea. I waited for the bus right in front of Jumbo Cup though, and after 10 minutes of waiting, I couldn't resist any longer. Chuiee saw me drink bbt while her bus passed Jumbo Cup... she never lets me forget it now. =(

I tried TenRen for the first time yesterday. It wasn't bad, but a little on the expensive side from what I usually pay.
