^ I think alot of it depends on how deep/large the roots are, their size, and how close to the surface they are. I have a really small mouth and larger teeth... and mine were really deep.

I had mine pulled out the summer before last, a week before my sixteenth birthday. The first day wasnt too bad, but it all went downhill from there. I couldnt even eat cake on my birthday it hurt so bad.
Well, I didnt really "get" through it... I just slept 95% of the time for the first 3-4 days. Did they give you a surenge? Because food easily gets trapped in the holes from where they remove the teeth. If the food stays in there, they'll get infected. They didnt give me one until I went in two weeks later, after complaining that my mouth still hurt . I dont see why they dont give people one to begin with. But then four months later, my mouth started hurting, and it turns out I had an infection. So they had to put me under anesthesia again and I guess operate, because my holes were already closed up.

So make sure you keep them cleaned out! lol.
