Retrospective is the HUGE show my school throws annually for all the art students. We decorate probably the entire first story of my school with artwork, and it's like a walk-in gallery. There is music, prizes, etc. This is the work I displayed (that I've been working on for the past year)

You've probably seen some of the pieces in this forum.

Nameplate! [This one isn't really an artwork]

1. (Clockwise from top-left) Oil pastel, oil pastel, soft pastel, water color and charcoal

2. Ebony Self-Portrait

3. Soft pastel self-portrait (Okay, I know I look really gross in the left one. X_X)

4. Soft pastel on VELVET PAPER (it's so softttt) Self portrait

5. Prisma-marker and Prisma-color Self-Portrait

Cut-out paper. YES, I hole-punched EVERY SINGLE DOT you see for the skin. It took me forever.

6. Ebony pencil and water-color (for the 'push' letters only)

7. Oil pastel. 'Rose' project: We all got a dead rose, and had to draw whatever we wanted, as long as it included the rose. ^_^

So, please tell me what you think, and what I should enter into the cB art contest (only the numbered ones, because it has to be a drawing / painting)! By May 12, haha.

My top 3 are: 3, 5 & 7.

I'm really drawn to the 7th one for some reason. It's beautifully done. I have a dead rose in my room too. XD.gif
You're talented.

#6 - At first I thought I read "Bush" not "Push" and thought... nice statement, considering that sometimes it feels like we're all pushpins being placed somewhere. (It's still a great piece).

I love the perspective of #2. Great angle.

They're all wonderfully done.

Oh god Misshypoo, I love every single one of your self portraits. You are so talented my darling! I like how they are all different but you can still see your style in there, does that make any sense? Haha. Just stop being soo damn talented woman, jeeeez.

I LOVE number seven, it really stands out to me along with number three. Everything looks so beautiful. You're truly an artist.
