i mean, age is nothing but a number. once again it's all on maturity. I think it's cute to see kids holding hands and i see nothing wrong with it and it is there parents choice to let them off to do things. i think its completely fine

Does it bother you that much? I could care less as long as they don't start having babies left and right...that would be kind of weird...and odd.

i find it POINTLESS. i mean, the kids in my school they go out with everyone for like.. what a 2 weeks max? then they go and find someone else. im in junior high, and what will the kids in elementry school do? they should stay friends.. i guess

I think it's a bit stupid. When I was in elementary school only the "cool kids" would date, and even then it just caused "drama." I thought it was kind of stupid.

i think it's fine, but it's sorta funny when they ask each other out to movies, cuz their parents have 2 drive them... n sometimes their parents pay for the tickets......and they can only see like pg movies lolz

Eh...I don't know. I wouldn't agree with my kid dating that young. Then as they get older they want to get further and stuff...try new things (*nudge nudge* if you know what I mean. Hey that rhymes...sort of). Anywhoo...frankly I wouldn't care for somebody else's kid, as long as it isn't with mine. Hehe, I'm going to be a strict mother...*thinks*

I don't think middle schoolers or young highschoolers shoould date... i mean, why date? What will it eventually lead up to? Nothing but a broken heart! I mean, you shoul donly date when you KNOW that you will MARRY them and have kids and start a family...i know its fun and you want to feel loved and stuf... but what will the point ever be?

i think dating in elementary school and even middle school (and sometimes in high school) is pointless. people date in elementary and middle school, and even early in high school because they:

- just want to have a gf/bf
- want to be more popular
- have friends who do it, and they wanna be part of the in-crowd
- have no idea why they're doing it!?! (this applies more to the elementary kids)

some kids might be like, "yea, but i really think i'm in love." sry , but thats 100% bs. love is such a complicated thing, and i highly, highly doubt anyone will truly be in love until they get older and mature more.

why can't people just be close friends than bf/gf? is it because being together means you can do stuff together, like kiss, hold hands, and sexual activities? if that's the case, that's not true love...thats lust.

I think elementary kids do it so they'd look cool. Makes them feel older... Sort of. That's what used to happen around me... but that's always not the case. :P
