No offence But you guys should just delete the myspace request's section...look in the next 3 pages, not 1 person has made a layout for all of the requesters that have the proper ammount of post's.
Sure, it take's alot of time. Just seems like no one likes to take request's so why bother with a section for it.

I'd have to disagree. If you read the rules we tell you that you are not guaranteed to get your layout request done. Also as you stated it does take time, and not that many people have time to spend designing someones myspace for them. Especially now during the time when people actually go to school and have to focus on things other than the online word. I know you may be mad that yours don't get done, but in the time people wait to get one done they can always learn themselves. (Not being rude) Personally I see why people don't design layouts sometimes (especially when tis not summer), because it is time consuming. If you don't have free time its less likely for you to take a break from your life to do something like that. I don't know thats my opinion.

Well, if on the off chance someone DOES make a requested layout, then surely it's worth having. What is there to lose by having one in place?

Actually a lot of requests get tended to. If someone doesn't have enough posts that comply with the rules it's not the mods fault. If someone who isn't a member of the community and makes one post (that being in requests) can really abuse the system. I think that a lot of requests aren't detailed enough and not many designers want to just guess as to what to do to complete a layout just to have someone be displeased with it.

A lot of times it is time consuming. Rules are rules. And requests need to be more detailed in general.

Of course, there's no guarantee that they'll get their requests. But it doesn't hurt to have one incase someone has the time to tend to it, no?

Its very rare that someone actually helps. I cant remember how many times i posted and asked for just a simple coding request and got no responce every time. I also noticed that everyone that replyed to this is part of the createblog staff. Interesting.

I look over your recent posts and the ones that you have for "coding requests" the layout was discontinued by your host. Secondly, in both your requests to have your personal layout coded, the same person told you he/she would code it for you. It's not the fault of createblog because he/she never came through for you and finished the coding. Lastly, as Toya said, if you need to have the coding done ASAP you should really learn to do it on your own, I have, and now I know how to make myspace layouts, and really it isn't that hard. The myspace requests section is there, because rarely a request comes along and is fulfilled, but in most cases that doesn't happen because this time of year, people are finishing up with school, and are too busy to use their free time and make myspace layouts.

Maybe snippy remarks like that are the reason you dont get your requests tended to.
Just a thought.

And by the way.All staff takes the time out to read what feedback there is to say. We dont just "give a long speech on hard work" then "abuse power" "and "close the topic making sure we get the last word."

You know, I wouldn't mind having just like...one thread for MySpace Requests. I'm still trying to play out in my head how something like that would work, but I do see how having an entire forum may just be taking up space.
