My hair is a bit above my shoulders and has lots of layers and such. I'm at a loss of what to do with it though! Any ideas for easy short hair styles (formal and not)?

you can clip your hair up on each side. It would look really cute if you have bangs.

Try side bangs. Also, I think pig tails on short hair can look really cute. :]

a poof in the front.. like errmmm pin your bangs back like down your part & smoosh the hair you pinned up a bit so it's poofy in front & probably hair spray it a tad. hope you know what i mean..

the right side of my face.
and my hair is fushia
and blond
and all those other wonderful colours that dye fades to eventually

Well at the moment my hair is just on my shoulders with lots of layers. I'm thinking I might just let it grow now, though....I'm kinda sick of short hair. It's a good job mine grows fast!

if you just want a way to style it, short with layers, are really cute thing is to flip all teh layers out, either with a curling iron, or a hair straightner and flip at the tips, it makes for a cute look either going out with a bunch of friends, or just a casual school day, and it takes no time at all. to make it stay in place either coat it in hairspray or put a little gel in, i promise it'll be adorable! :)

I have a bazillion layers in my hair, well not quite that many. My hair was put in sections (3) and the back of my hair was one and then there were two sides for the bangs and one side has about 6 layers and the other has about 3 or 4. I usually wear a hand band with it or just straighten it. I always liked pigtails but of course I can't stand having them un-even so I always give up. I'll look around though but like I said could I have a picture of your hair style?
