Hello!

Well we've had fanfiction contest(s) in the past and it'd be a good idea to have one again sometime soon.

Some questions for all y'all:
a.) First of all - Are you interested in participating?
b.) What sort of time frame can be agreed upon? A month? 2 weeks?
c.) Criteria: Length? How many words?
d.) Maybe we can expand fanfictions to not only anime but also video games in terms of genre?

I love fan fics, my friends in middle school use to write them all the time and they would give them to me to read and fix any little mistakes. I think this is a splendid idea and its always neat to get new ideas for the anime forum I think.

Keep it alive, I wouldn't want to participate but I think its really a good idea. Maybe for starting out make it around 250-1000 words perhaps? Somewhat short but long enough they can get the point across

Time wise I don't think should be to long but since school is still around maybe 1-3 weeks? Most of the time they don't take to long to write from what I've seen only a couple of hours or a few days.

Dude, yeah, def keep this alive.
Perhaps maybe a fan art contest as well.

this time would be cool if it was done
in illlustrator or photoshop or something

250-1000 words sounds reasonable, so we can give writers more of a choice on whether they want to write a short one shot or a longer story.
I think 2 weeks would be decent time.


Definitely, maybe we can find some way to intertwine the fanfiction and fanart contests together. Like maybe the fanfiction contest is done first, and once the stories are up the fan art contest can start and the only requirement is that it is related to one of the fanfictions?

Maybe? Thoughts?
