Any artist can say for sure that a piece will never be completely satisfactory unless they are properly motivated... Like, I can't even finish a piece unless I'm 100% focused on my idea.
The question here is what motivates you to do what you do? Is it theatre? Nature? Other people's art? Personal emotions?

Usually personal experiences get my mind working. I love nature as well so I try to blend a little bit of both in there.

Random things. Personal emotion, experience, emotion of other people, other artwork, music. I'd have to say music is an intense motivator; I listen to music and some image comes to mind. It's really not a question of what motivates me, but what keeps me doing a project, you know?

When I start looking around at other artwork, I'm so jealous of all the talent out there that I just get this spark of motivation & creativity to work hard at something haha
...
then I lose it a few moments later & get stuck again -_-;

It can be a number of things that motivate me...usually its my own personal experiences and emotions. Sometimes music, sometimes other people.
