I do when I'm vectoring and when I'm webdesigning, that's about it.
I think it'd be a bit hard to do it with emotes XD

I would
like to do that, but I am lacking in drawing skills.

^lol. you don't need particularyly good drawing skills.
i do. i draw a box for content and orient my header/image accordingly. if there's people, i draw a lump circle atop an crooked oval. i erase and redraw with the image and other content boxes till i'm happy.
btw, i'm actually not that bad of an artist. i'm just spectacularly lazy.

blah I'm not a very creative thinker, so I just start with the computer/pscs and through thuoghts into it, and then procrastination gets me and I leave it and never get back to it.

Nah, I never draw. When i first started designing my friend told me to draw it out but the ideas just wouldn't get to me and so I just went straight to the computer instead.

Yes, always. It's apart of the creative process and one of my favorite things about designing.

I usually only sketch on paper first when I'm having a hard time thinking of a new website layout arrangement.

Well, I basically just suck. And I mean... I wouldnt design anything that I didnt like, and I dont like my drawings.. So yeah
thats just how it works out. heh.
Maybe I will try one day, to sketch up something. And perhaps it will turn out nicely. but idk.

a part, yes, but not a BIG part in my opinion, i dont think that will make or break you as a designer, not that you SAID that

No, I just design on the computer. I tried drawing an idea before, but it never worked out for me lol. I think it's nice drawing graphic sketches and then vectoring the sketch in illustrator or something. =] I do that once in a while.

A couple of times when I was trying to figure out ways to reorganize my MySpace. I'm not very good at drawing things out.

Man, I wish I could do that. But whenever I draw something--it never coems out that way online.

that's sad, drawing and going from there is a really good way to get things the way your brain really wants them
its subconshous.
[dear grammar/spelling nazi's,
subconshous is spelled wrong on purpose. deal.]

Even in my writing classes in high school/college, my teachers could never get me to do any sort of prewriting. If it was ASSIGNED, I would wait until after my paper was finished and do it then, make it look like I'm planning. I just write so much better when I dive into it and edit as I go. Same thing with programming, my professor will ask us to turn in our pseudocode and I always forget, so I just write something up after I'm finished with the project.
I suck at planning. My work comes out better if I just do it. Sometimes if I'm bored and I don't have a computer in front of me, I'll map out a design, but I hardly ever follow through with that plan.

Yeah..sometimes in class, when we watch a REALLY boring video..I 'daydream' ideas of what my next layout should look like
but I rarely draw it out

A lot of the time my photo manipulations are inspired by the original stock image, so I work from there. But if I have a really, really specific direction I want to work in, then I will make a very rough sketch. Rough as in stick figures and more labels than actual drawings. haha.
