About a month and a half ago, my boyfriend and I were having sex. We used a condom, and at the last couple of seconds...the condom broke (but at the time we didn't know it), then he pulls out, pulls the condom off real quick, and ejaculates on my stomach. Then we found out the it broke...so we decided to get the Plan B pill anyway just in case. It was my third time taking it because the condom has ripped on us before. About a week after I took it...I started bleeding for a few days. It wasn't my period because I had had it nearly 2 weeks before. And It said that one of the side effects of this pill was bleeding, so I wasn't concerned.
Now...I'm nearly 2 weeks late on my period. I'm wondering if now I'm just irregular because of using the morning after pill, especially since this was the third time I've taken it. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of it making your period irregular. Or should I be concerned that I'm pregnant?

Actually, you've been chosen by Prince Kazgaard of the planet Gozroth V to be the new queen of our dying race. The Hive Mind has spoken, it is your destiny, you must accept. Be strong, our queen!

Well from experience it does make you period irregular but just as a precaution take a pregnanacy test (preferably from a free clinic but the stick thingy is fine too) @ least
19 days after the "intercourse" . Why 19 you may ask? Because thats usually the soonest(not a word but still) the pregnancy hormone shows up unlike what most people say about 2 weeks...19! Remember that!
P.S use better condoms cuz it seems like you use crappy 1s

Hi Ashley.
Go see your ObGyn or take a pregnancy test. You'll be better off just knowing for sure.
Also, look into buying better condoms. Not to be Captain Obvious, but they really shouldn't be breaking like that.

Plan B can be taken as one single dose or two pills in which the second one is taken 12 hours after the first. Side effects include: nausea, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, or spotting/bleeding. Plan B can also delay your period by a week so don't panic if you don't get it during your regular time. However, if your period is more than a week late, get a pregnancy test.
i suggest you get a pregancy test like someone said before. however, normally, if you take plan b and you still don't get your period within a week late of your regular time, you should go see a doctor.

The pill you took messed up your cycle. If it made you bleed after you took it, you should probably expect your period no later than four weeks after that.

I took Plan B once in the past. Actually, the next day, I started bleeding as well, and it lasted a week.

So from my experience, I guess it's normal.

^Wow, that's the first time I've seen you open up about something sex-related

I took it once only because the lady looked at me weird when she offered it to me, after I told her all I had was unprotected sex, and I declined. It didn't make me bleed, though.
