I honestly dunno the guy- but only have read about him on Perez Hilton's blog site about him and American Idol..

He can`t sing for shit in my opinion, BUT I like him because he has balls.

Annnnnd, i`ve never voted for him.

He looks like the guy that helps with my taxes.

His voice sucks... seriously. He doesn't deserve the spot he has on AI.
And I really don't think he is that attractive, He seems kind of wimpy.. I always expect him to start crying when the judges are telling him what they think.
But I suppose he's got balls, going out there knowing that some of the judges hate him, and some of america....

I'm actually not even an AI viewer. I've seen like ONE episode. hahaha
So I dont care that much, but that is what I think.

His charisma and smile gets me.
I don't follow AI though.

I hope that bloke wins.And so there shall be the downfall of american idol.MUAHAHAHAHA

But I must say, his "Besame Mucho" wasn't terrible.

Being dropped into a pit of vipers and then blowtorched by a fat man would be too kind an ending for those who vote for him.

Why are people so into him? Am I missing something?

I mean, his voice is alright but nothing terribly special. His onscreen presence makes me cringe and wince and do this weird curl thing with my upper lip.

^ That's why people are into him. Because he's so unbelievably bad that you have to watch to see what idiotic antic he's going to do next.

I didn't see the performance that got her sent home, but... I didn't like her much anyway.

i haven't really watched american idol too much lately,
but he has caused quite a stir.

he kinda looks like a darker hayden <3 yum.

can't sing to save his life.

I thought my family and I were the only ones who HATE him. Honestly, he should have never made it to the top 12. Week after week he is still in the compition and it never ceases to amaze me why he continues to make it through to the next round when he can't sing for crap!

His voice is mediocre, and almost every week, he's just terrible, save last week.
Last night was one of the worst

Most of the people who are voting for him are the young girls who think he's cute...

I don't even think he's that good looking. I personally think he's gross. he just shouldn't be there....

If he does win....I will never watch that show again...no lie

Here's the thing though and Simon has said this in nearly EVERY audition I've seen clips for: This is a SINGING competition. Sanjaya just isn't up to par. He's only been able to squeek by so far because of the shock value. Of course, that makes me just think most people (that keep voting for him) are bizarre because he's not even that shocking. Some folks have speculated it's to keep AI from being boring. Either that or Howard Stern's influence. :p

In any case, he isn't still around because he sings so well. He should have been eliminated instead of Gina a while back, in my opinion.

I actually vote for Sanjaya to poke fun out of the people who are totally against it. If you ask me I feel bad for him. It's the voters who keep him on TV, not him himself. So why blame and hate Sanjaya?
