Had to be done, so what do you guys think of some of the secrets and all that lol. Discuss everything about CreateSecret here.

Well, maybe not everything. To everyone:

It's totally allowed (and definitely encouraged from me) to discuss CreateSecret itself, but when discussing the secrets, really consider the following rules:



Quite a few of the CreateSecrets are very, very personal. So imagine yourself in their place, and think if you'd want someone criticizing the secret you felt brave enough to reveal.



A couple of the CreateSecrets have definitely gone into a folder I have of my all-time favorite PostSecrets. They're beautifully created, and I must admit that the funny ones really made me giggle.

I personally think some are funny, but done quite well.

Some are random.. no?

There are a few I can relate to, and a few that are definitely put into my Favorite PostSecrets, as Kaycee said.
I also laughed at a few (for obvious reasons), and the Croissant one completely went over my head.

i was surprised by how many secrets been posted already! and most of them, i can relate too.

a lot of them have to do with relationships though. i hope we get a wider range of secrets later. =)

The "I wish I was stronger" one is beautiful.

By "you guys" do you mean the mods? We aren't, I promise. We have no idea who sent them in, and in case someone can track the maker via the url, they've been uploaded to another server to prevent that.

So, a couple of thingymickjaggers:

1. There was another rule-disclaimer thingy added at the end of rules.
2. It'd be awesome if there was...oh I don't know....more votes in the who thread thingy. Considering it's a tie. Sort of like bagels and muffins. Except with the latter, the winner is a lot more clear.

This is a great idea. I love it.

A lot of them are very pretty, words and pictures. I like reading the real Postsecret and relating to them too.

The jealousy one is flippin' awesome.

The one about hopes for your future children... Yeah.. me too.

The discussion thread out of conveniency, and the CreateSecret thread is here because many PostSecrets are out about Relationships (and this forum reaches far further than just romantic ones) and this forum could use a little more activity.

I want to make one, but my art skills suck.

^ You dont have to have good art skills at all. Just find a picture, and put some text on it.
That is really all it takes.

...so? Some of the most beautiful of the Create and PostSecrets, imo, have been extremely simple. They get the message across, and that's what matters most.

Of course, it is wonderful that we have amazing designers and I'm sure that's why a couple of them are so damn gorgeous.

I dont know yet.I still kinda feel a little weird about trying to post ones seacret on here.Even if its private.Im sure ill warm up to this.

the relationship one makes me sad...because it describes my entire life in one post card.

I'm so scared of someone figuring out which is my secret, too. It's a very flip-flop feeling. Part of me wants people to know, to figure it out so it's completely out in the open and not a secret anymore. But I get scared of that, too, because there can be so manh repercussions from such a thing happening. But the whole time - and I mean this completely honestly - I'm glad that I made it. There was a real feeling of relief when I made it and saw it posted.

Then again, in the reverse, I always wonder who made what.
That's why I send stuff to PostSecret...it's a relief...
but then again, it's also harder because there's no guarantee that it'll be posted. (which can be disappointing)
(plus I'm afraid of what my mailman thinks of me, lol)

then again, none of my postcards have ever actually been posted on PostSecret, haha.

Some of these secrets are insanely easy to relate to. And some are so beautifully portrayed I have to say.
