So lets say an average looking guy that goes to your school(which you have about 1 or 2 classes with) approaches you/makes the first move how does that make you feel?

You don't really like him in that sort of a way but you know he has the Biggest crush on you.

You know his name and all but you don't really talk to him. Maybe you two just exchange a couple Hi and Byes. He stares at you during class but he just cant seem to tell you how he feels.

What would you respond with if the guy happens to ask you out?

I guess I would just say straight up that I don't know him well enough to go out with him.

I think if he seemed nice enough and if he didn't creep me out/annoy me at first, I'd give him a chance. Like one or two dates, to see what he's like.

I would go out with him once to get to know him better and see if I could like him "in that sort of way" after all. If I didn't feel any chemistry after trying for a while, I would tell him that I was sorry but didn't like him.

I would kind of hesitate into going on one or two dates with him, since he might be really let down to find out that you don't like him if you find out that's so. Hmm... I'd probably tell him I want to get to know him better first... and then see if after a few weeks, my feelings about him had changed?

I can't date guys that I don't know well enough to a certain degree. I'd have to be friends with him first.

maybe just hanging out with mutal friends of something to start.

however, personally, and in a lot of cases, people like the chase.
a girl or a guy isn't going to feel as accomplished unless
they feel they won you (I'm not saying people are trophies
to be won, but if its someone you really like and then you actually
get to be with someone, its the greatest feeling, but its someone
you're ok with or a semi interest with, then you don't appeciate
them as much). especially if you know the guy
has a big crush on you, then you know that you could be
with him, and you don't feel as accomplished.

so my advice......don't go full on forward. show interest, but
don't overwhelm her.

Like everyone else said, I'd have to get to know him better first.
Maybe hang out with a group of friends first..
And then if you want to pursue things, hang out one on one.
That's what I usually do.

I would tell him that we need to talk more. After awhile i would get to know him and maybe, if i liked him and he liked me still we would go out.
