we are both 21, and we been going for about 5 months. we ocasionally talk about the future. from how we will last until 90 to how our kids going to look like. It felt comfortable talking about it too. Im not sure if this is wayy too soon to talk about stuff like this..
Have YOU talked about the future with your GF/BF?? and how long have you guys been going out?[size=2]

I don't think it's too soon to be talking about stuff like that. As long as both of you are comfortable speaking about it then it's all good.

i agree with what mystic said. its based on how you two feel. my ex was talkin about marriage when we were still together.

Yea, we talk about it all the time (itll be a month next week) but we've known each other for almost 4 years. we plan on moving in together this summer too. heres the thing, we're in a long distance relationship(PA & FLA), so i think there is a possibility that it will happen just because, its been working out better than expected bein in a long distance relationship and when we're together, its like magic...every single time.

I do! I've been dating my boyfriend for over a year. It's fun to imagine the future with him :) and our house, our kids, our car, our bedroom, etc. :D

Yup...we've been dating for a little over half a year. But we both truly think that there's potential for us to stay together for a long time. And he's the one who told me that one day I'll be more than his girlfriend =)
It's fun to imagine, but just don't take it REALLY seriously. You can do that after a few years of dating.

my bf and i've been together for nearly three years. we started talking about the future two years into our relationship.
like where we're going to live. kids. marriage. stuff like that.
it makes me worry if we constantly talk about it and set ourselves up for heartbreak/disappointment.

What's there to worry about. The fact that people speak to their over halfs about the future shows that there committed and genuinely want this to last. So it's purely a good thing.

Well I do talk about the future with him. Not exactly a future to do with us, but like .. generally the future. Like what we plan to do with our lives, where we would like to live etc.
So it's not exactly, me and him, marriage, kids etc.
Then again, we're only 15 .. so it would be abit early to talk about that.

I don't tend to talk about the future, or not yet at least. But, my friends do for me.

Yeah we do. But it's not like "OMG. We are SO gonna get married. You are SO the one." We mostly just do it for fun.

Yeah, you guys should talk about the future. You know, how your guys' relationship will burn and fail. =/
