so today i dropped my ipod about three feet off the ground..
when i picked it up and turned it on, there was a file icon with an exclamation mark.
i took it home and i searched online, but i cant find anything
when i try to reset it, the apple logo briefly comes up then goes back to the folder icon
can anyone help?

You probably need to restore it.

To restore, (only on iTunes 7) plug in your iPod and go to Summary and hit Restore. If you need help with that, click.
But be warned, restoring deletes EVERYTHING off your iPod.

Try charging it too. :]
