what if you use the condom in a wrong way, will you get pregnant?

ok: "he" put it wrong... like.. there's no space on the tip and condom suppose to have a space on the very tip.

and that's our main concern about the "wrong way" i hope it's clear to all of you!

for one thing, even if you use a condom you can still get pregnant, the only 100% way not to get pregnant is to be abstinent.

for a more direct answer to your question though...yes if you dont use it properly the effectiveness of it will lower. However, you're being awfully vague...in what "wrong" way is the one you're referring to?

well i heard that condoms are only 99.9% effective but if you use them wrong their is a high risk of pregnancy

In a perfect world condoms are 99% effective. With user error they're only about 85% effective. It's a risk even if you use it the right way. If you use it the 'right' way you can get pregant, so yes if you use it wrong you can get pregnant.

Using a condom wrong means that you have sexual intercourse without it for a bit, and THEN you put it on.
Also, if you use it and then take it off and flip it out, that is also using it wrong. If it's inside out, it can't really be that bad.

And to whoever gave her a speech on abstinence blah blah blah. Shut the f**k up. That was not her original question. She does not need a speech on being abstinent if she is wondering about condoms. It's good that she actually cares enough to protect herself.

There's always a risk, even if you put it on the right way, theres a bigger risk if you put it on the wrong way.
