Ooh. I have Facebook, but not a lot of people I know have it so i don't use it much.

Yeah, I've got one. It's fun when I'm really bored, but otherwise I don't think I'll ever become addicted to it like I was to Xanga for a while.

I don't have one. I don't understand why they're such a big deal. The thing that would bug me is that you can't customize it. I think the friend ticker thing or whatever it is, is stupid idea.

i have one and so does everyone else in my school (they got scared of the whole 'myspace predators' stuff and moved to facebook). but personally i like myspace and xanga better hehe. i basically have it -facebook- just to keep in touch with schoolfriends, some of my friends from old schools, and friends from other places not from schools.

Friend ticker?

I actually like that Facebook isn't customizable. The layout is nice and clean, and that way people can't go and make ugly layouts with blinding neon colors and horrible music that make your browser lag. There are enough of those on MySpace. >.<

^ I agree. I love that about Facebook...add the fact that it's completely low maintenance. Never have to worry about coding or layout designing.

Also, Facebook's less superficial than Myspace, I find that people have friends that they actually know, not friends for the sake of having them.

Facebook has pretty much been consuming all my time...it's alright though. I call it "instant messaging without the pressure". I'm usually not very eloquent when it comes to instant messaging (problem being the "instant" part of it), I never have time to think about my replies. Which is why I like forums (such as cB), but Facebook too. You're not forced to reply, yet you're able to carry on with a conversation easily.

I love the "poking" thing on Facebook. Completely pointless, but it's cute.

I used to not spend so much time on FB, but ever since I got accepted to my college, I joined the network and I've gotten to know so many people I'll be going to school with next year. My facebook time quadrupled. It's great.

Actually, it does have a purpose. I used to think it was just for fun but one day I discovered that there's actually a point to it: when you poke someone you're not friends with (who has a private profile), you can see their profile info for a week.

^Does that mean the person would know I poked him and he would know that I can see his profile?

I have a Facebook and I find it so much more convenient/efficient than Myspace. I love it!
I can keep in touch with my senior friends going off to colleges... so it's good.

i have myspace.. and xanga.. and facebook lol. although i dont check any of them until i get some alert email from it. aim and my phone is what i use most to communicate

I got bullied into joining Facebook.. I don't like it.. rather stick to one thing then create many accounts on various sites to do the same job.. plus I keep forgetting emails and passwords.. so its good to stick to one.

My Facebook is dead though, not added any of my friends.. can't be bothered with it.

Yeah, I do too. At first I didn't like it, but it's growing on me. I'm in the Facebook Sneak Preview group so I knew what it'd look like, but I dearly hope they won't allow different color schemes for profiles. There's a photo of a bright pink profile that's rather blinding.

Yea I got one of those things. I'm really slow with it, since I'm not one of those people that check it every day. Yea I think the majority of the people know about mines, since I mainly float around Myspace or Facebook. Wow I didn't know about the poking thing. :P

Facebook is easier in the sense that if I put in a person's name, it will actually give me the name. Myspace searches SUCKKKK.

Once I graduated from Highschool I converted to facebook (from myspace). All my Uni friends have it, it's easy, and Im addicted to it.

I am sooo addicted to facebook. It's kind of ridiculous. I definitely use it the most out of all those sites, though I still have a myspace and everything.

What's cool is when you add new pictures, Facebook tells all your friends on there, and you can tag people. On myspace, no one knows you have new pictures until you change your main picture. :P
