I had a guyfriend that liked me too, but I basically just acted myself and showed no feelings for him in that "I like you" way and his affections for me just faded away.

NEVER, I MEAN NEVER ignore a guy! NEVER! That seems like a great solution to get rid of unwanted people of the opposite sex, buts its not! You may not realize it, but if you like someone a lot and they completely ignore you...it hurts like sh*t...trust me i know this one
