The new 8-core Mac Pros have arrived! That's 8 3.0GHz 64-bit Intel Xeon processors.
Hmm eight cores. I wonder what I could do with that. KC needs this (and broadband).
Ohh man. 
And I thought quad-core was crazy!
No one would really need it unless they're gonna use it for a server or something..

It would also be useful for film editing, scientific visualization, software development, simulation…anything that's multithreaded or works with large arrays of data.
