Do you think cb is getting "overcrowded" in the forums? Do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing?
Kathleen
Jun 11 2004, 11:49 AM
Overcrowded? Nah - there's tons of threads to post on...I don't think it's overcrowded at all. Hmm...I would think it's a good thing because the community is growing, and it shows that we appeal to many people.

what i mean...is there is something about blogring...and a lot of them will be coming over here. I guess we could think of it as a good thing...or is it just last resort =/ we have been rivals and all...do you think everyone will get along if they all come...i guess i should have rephrased that
Kathleen
Jun 11 2004, 03:33 PM
Well, there's only a few people from createblog and a few from blogring that actually dislike each other. There's many others that would come in and just be regular members and not say anything. If there are others that just come here to be mean, then the moderators, such as myself, will deal with it.

*Pats your head* Don't worry, there's nothing to fear.

well, i dont think it's overscrowded... i mean, theres alot of people, just there could be more. the only thing i am a bit sad about is that i miss the old createblog or xangans, when it was like this small little village of a few people.

keke
but right now, i guess i am a bit overwhemled with the many posts, esp some that are spam

esp since i agree that i spam alot as well. im a bad mod.

How can you say you spam?! You always have so much to say on each post.

it must be the colors... yes that's it the colors on createblog.com are so friendly....
or maybe it's people like the mods who make us feel so darn special :)

I think that since it growing it'd be good, right? That means the sites getting around to more and more people. But then again, even though I'm new, there do seem to be a lot of those AM I UGLY or rate the person above you threads and it's kinda annoying because I logged in here so no one could ever know the real me (hence, no pic) so why would you post things like that for others to rate? Kind of pointless. Kathleen has her pic because...she's Kathleen. I don't have one becuase I am me. So don't rate me, it's stupid.

I actually think it IS overcrowded.
I recently joined another forum...and its much more relaxed.

I think the more members cB has the better. However, it's the members who do not contribute to the forum with any meaningful posts that make things seem so... overcrowded.
So really, the only thing overcrowding this community are people who spam us with funny/stupid topics and one/two word replies...

CB Overcrowded... nope. It just seems like it with all of these repeated and spamed-up topics. Now if someone would use the search button and write more than an incomplete sentence, It won't be as overwelming.
... [haha] Weird, this is coming from a n00bie. [grin]

Yes, exactly.. 2 things to add
1. you spelt "overwhelming" and "spammed" incorrectly
2. like you said.. too many of the topics are getting old, repeated, dunno about the spam though.. hm.. mods should be able to delete repeated topics.. instead of just lock them..

i agree wat kathleen says... i mean why should it matter when there are so many ppls... i mean it's not like they are the ones who leave post...not many members.. about 10,000 ppls post...and the rest... they dont post, so i dont call that overcrowding and it's great to see ppls joining our community here in createblog.com
