Woah, I had no clue they were releasing a new album this soon. I knew it was coming, but dang. Caught me off guard.

Anyone heard their new single, "What I've Done"? It's definately WAY different than their previous stuff. For one thing, Mike Shinoda (Fort Minor) is nowhere to be found vocally, at least on this one.

Good change? Bad? I loved Linkin Park before, but this is even better.

Could we get a link to their songs? I am quite the lazyass.

Eh yeah. But I was really surprised when I first heard it. I knew it was supposed to be something different... just not that different. I've never been a huge fan of Mike, so I actually really like the change. I just hope the rest of the cd is this good.

Chesters voice has always been pretty good, though.

Yeah, he has an amazing voice.

I'm just not sure I like his new "look".
It's like he's completely changed his appearance.

The video was definitely awesome. I'm going to have to give them some props, for that.
But I still like old LP better than that song, Though I suppose I shouldnt judge until I hear the rest of the cd.

Chesters new "look" made me laugh a lot. Kind of looked like he belonged in the Matrix or something. haha

i've been hearing about their new album for over a year. I'm not too sure if it's going to meet my expectations. I mean, I understand that it's been a while since they've done their thing and they've all changed as people which is obviously going to change their music... but I have hope. I was amazed that the new Chimaira is as good as it is, so I'm hoping Linkin Park will be good too.

They're a lot softer now. I remember when I heard One Step Closer and loved them, but now they are soft.

I've heard the song and it's pretty awesome. It's definitely different now, though, not a lot of the harder, edgy stuff anymore.

He sings a little...sorta. But not rapping, no.

Well, I just downloaded the new cd... and it's actually pretty good. It's definately not what I expected. Mike has two of his very own songs. Some of Chester's songs are a little odd though... he goes from singing really soft like he did in "My December" to almost screaming, like he does in some of his other stuff. Ehhhh. And it seems like the whole cd doesnt flow together very well from song to song, like the other albums have.

But all in all, Minutes to Midnight definately has its highlights. Even though I have it now, I'm definitely going to buy it when it comes out Tuesday.

True, what I liked about Meteora was that it flowed so seamlessly.

Yeah, same here. Hahah yeah, I was more into them when I was 12 too. It's still Linkin Park, but then again... its just not the same. Overall, the cd isnt that great. But it still has a couple of noteable songs. But probably nothing that will be as popular as "What I've Done"... which really isnt that big of a hit to begin with.

I didn't listen to them that much to begin with. Maybe I'll try some of their new songs and see if I like those better.

Yeah the new song that they made is alright but i still like the old linkin park.

In a way I'm glad that they're not the same. If they kept putting out the same stuff it'd be boring, but I think that they're made a very big change. Deffinately a big change from when I first saw One Step Closer on the TV and was like

Hopefully, the CD will be better live, because they are amazing live.

^ Well, a couple of the new songs ARE crap. The only songs that are decent to me at least are:

- Leave Out All the Rest 9/10
- Shadow of the Day 7/10
- What I've Done 8/10
- Hands Held High (anti war song by Mike) 5/10
- Valentines Day 7/10
- In Between (first time I've ever heard Mike sing soft... lol, kinda weird) 6/10
- Pieces (has a weird 311 vibe... one of the better ones though). 9/10

I just skip everything else.

I personally enjoy their older songs better. Faint and Numb are the best.

I think their new single sounds just fine. Of course their older stuff is better but at least their actually releasing something else. I'll have to check out the album though, my dad likes them so he'll be one of the first that gets it.

It makes sense if you look at the dates of when they got married {him and the playboy girl} and when he had his kid with her.

a lot bands on TV are sell outs but the point being some bands are really respected such as LP, while you got bands like Panic at the disco who is f**king garbage sound horrible live and their music have no sense. LP is good don't get me wrong Fans such as Me and other people feel as if they are selling out their sound for music thats growing in the industry. but whats music now if everyone sounds the same.
