ok, my bf always used to give me surprise hugs, hold my hand, and always comfort me in any sort of way, but some reason, he doesn't do any of that stuff anymore.. why?am i supposed to make the next move? or is he?

Maybe he already got what he was after in the relationship and just stopped trying...or he's not as enthusiastic about the relationship as before...or he's still doin the same stuff but you're takin it all for granted.

Yea, i think i agree with winter and wildgrifin.. i mean .. dating sucks, but not cause us *women* arent good at it.. its just that we expect diff. things .. We expect him to know what we're feeling, and to ask us whats wrong, but the truth is, he gets tired of asking, and sometimes its like you guys (the relationship) is in a rut.. Dont worry, You guys will work through it.

heyyy i saw an episode like this on daria!!! okay well, your bf may be really comfortable with this relationship, so he doesnt feel like he has to do romantic things anymore. plus if you think about it, if he does romantic things ALL the time, it'll kinda lose itz meaning rite? if he does romantic things every once in a while, itz more meaningful.

i'm guessing one of 2 reasons
1) now that he has u, he no longer needs to try, and is getting lax, so he doesn't do those 'little things' conciously anymore. just gently remind him, and he'll probably notice it himself and correct it. i think that's y a lot of girls play hard 2 get, cuz once a guy has somethin, it's just doesn't seem valuable to them anymore

2) he's losing interest

yeah my boyfriend was sweet for the first month, but after that he got comfortable knowing that i dont like him for the materialistic things. i mean they are nice, but it's whats on the inside that counts. after some guys realize that, they stop trying so hard to impress you because he knows that he already has you.
