Well you see, my current iPod is the first photo iPod before video came out. I was wondering if Apple made any statements about releasing a new iPod (e.g. new look for nano, and video etc.). After I bought my iPod Photo, the video was released the next day and I don't want that to happen to me again. If so, I'll wait for it.

Also: If no one knows about Apple modifying the iPods then.. I am stuck deciding.. I want the black iPod nano (8GB), however the Black/White iPod Video (30GB) is the same price. Which should I get?

They just released the new Nano's.
I bought a red one, &it's still running smoothly.

Apple's releasing a phone, soon.
That's what they're working on.

^ What cupcakex said. They just released the new ones not too long ago.
I did the same thing too, practically. I got the 1st generation Nano, but about 3 days later, the new aluminum (current) ones came out. But thank goodness I didn't even open it yet.

If you are looking for more storage space, then obviously 30 GB is better for you. But if you want a more compact, sleek and skinny design, and don't care much about storage, then the nano might be better.

I suppose it depends on if you want to be able to watch videos and movies on your iPod. I don't have any videos/movies so my iPod Nano's fine with me.

They're not coming out with anything new involving the ipod immediately that i know of, but Apple came out with the Apple Tv in January...

As for which device you should get out of those, i would personally go with the video.
