Ok, according to my friend who is friends with this guy who is supposedly going to ask me to prom. But the problem is that I hate him. I hate him because he had broken my heart last year. I took a break on guys for awhile since it never really works for me. Now I feel so non-stressed about guys and I never actually felt that for a long time [lol]. If he asks me, he doesn't want to think about us anything more than friends. I don't minded that at all to go with him. But the fact he broke my heart is just overbearing and I'm afraid to fall for him again.

Should I go with him?
Did that ever happen to you?
That you can't even see or speak to this certain someone because the had hurt you before?
And it just makes you mad just thinking about it?

I guessed I'd have to go with the cliche of "If you don't feel comfortable doing it, don't do it". If he broke your heart once, he can easily do it again. If you're not feeling very confident about falling for him, then don't go with him. If he asks you, just respectful decline. You're young and there's plenty more guys out there who won't break your heart.

maybe you'll think too much about how he broke your heart during prom while you guys dance, hang out, etc. and it'll ruin the fun.
prom is supposed to be fun.
go with somebody you know won't hurt you. :)

just kiddinggggg. I`m not going to my senior prom this year. I honestly don`t care anymore. I just wanna graduate. But yeah, for your siutuation, I wouldn`t go with him. I mean, why ask you to prom if he thought he was good enough without you before? He says he wants to be friends right? Bullshit. Maybe he doesn`t mean anything by it, but since he wants to be friends, and that`s not gonna be your intention(to be friends), then I don`t think it`s worth it because you both aren`t looking for the same things.
