why didnt they have sex? why didnt we get to read about the wedding?!

Since the books been out for well over a week, I don't think they're considered spoilers anymore...

Anyway, they didn't have sex because Edward originally wanted Bella (and him, too) to stay virgins until they were married. But then at the end when he wanted to do it, it was because he felt bad for always trying to control Bella, but at the same time Bella felt bad for always taking advantage of him and stuff, so she wanted to do it his way. Well, his way originally.

And we didn't read about the wedding because SM is evil and wants to keep us hanging!

GAH. We didn't get to read about it because then she'd know that the book sales for the next book would skyrocket because we're all hanging my the damn edge of our seats!

I just felt so bad for Jake, that at first, I felt mad at Edward, but really I'm just mad at Bella. For...not being able to make them both happy.

But what if she had chosen Jake, and he imprinted on someone else? That would have been horrible.

Yeah, Eclipse has made pretty much every Stephenie Meyer fan hate Bella.

Isn't Bella the one Jake imprints on, though? He says "No" very gruffly when Bella asks him if he's imprinted on anyone yet, but it's obvious he's lying -- he's imprinted on Bella. You can only imprint on one person in your life.

Jake hasn't imprinted yet. He wouldn't have to to be able to love Bella. Sam was able to love Leah before he imprinted on Emily.

I know a lot of guys that wear sweaters. Are they women, too?

I don't think so. Been there, done that. And besides, B/E are way too far into their relationship (aka they're getting married within a month after Eclipse) for her to change her mind again. And Jacob's already off to God knows where...

But who knows.

If there is another B/J fling, I think I'm going to burn the book. Well, not really but I really can't stand love triangles. Besides, Bella did make up her decision in Eclipse, I think that was the whole point, or at least part of the whole point, for Eclipse.

I doubt there will be another B/J fling. Errr, let's hope not..

I'm tired of EdwardxBella, actually. Bella + Jake = Soul mates. Edward + Bella = Drug addiction. Is it weird to anyone else that this book is entirely about the wrong kind of love?

I wanted to throw my book into the Yangze River after that last chapter with Jake. Depressed the living hell out of me. I was all mopey and lovelorn.

I like Edward, but I just like Jake more. I don't think I've once felt bad for Edward the entire book, the only time I ever really liked him was when he told Jake he would break his jaw if he ever forced himself on Bella again, and then again when he and Jake were joking around a bit when Jake was snuggling up on Bella to keep her warm.

No need to be scared, Kayleigh. I never thought of the books that way but after reading your post I can definitely see that. I've never felt bad for Edward either. I would say that there's no reason to feel sorry for him, but there is. I just don't empathize with him. After all, Bella chooses him every time. Jake has no one.

sorry to break it to you, but EDWARD IS THE BEST

I felt bad for Edward in the book. I've been where he has, where you think that you're not what's good for them, but they still love you no matter what. And I mean seriously that's the one true from of love, selfless love Bella and Jacob would just not do it, I mean really, sure Jake is cute and sweet, but he is so annoying... SHe said back of, She wants Edward not you... EDWARD, just let it drop, you seem pathetic...

I'm not sure about Stephenie Meyer not liking him, but it doesn't matter that he's French since he's fluent in English. But she definitely said she would not allow an actor over 21 to play Edward, and Gaspard is older than that.
