Haha, I think he's GORGEOUS. But I can't really see him as an Edward... he's more buff and "big" rather than skinny-ish build I've pictured Edward to have.

It's so sad; when it all came down to it, he had an option to leave with Isolde and escape the fighting but he instead decided to defend his 'uncle' and be loyal to his country... so he got stabbed, or pierced with an arrow, or something like that. And then he dies. They really shouldn't kill off good looking guys.

I've listened to Gaspard talk in English in the movie Hannibal Rising and I didn't think it was too choppy at all. Eh, well, I only saw an excerpt of it so perhaps that doesn't count. I still think he's perfect for Edward in every way.

Yeah, his English was pretty good. I saw him in the Hannibal Rising interview. It was definitely good enough for me. Perhaps an accent would add to his (Edward's) character anyway?

Also, this is so nerdy/weird but I incorporated Gaspard Ulliel into the oral part of my French Regents that I took yesterday! I said something like, "Je veux que vous cherche l'information sur un acteur qui s'appelle Gaspard Ulliel. Il a ete dans un film americain, 'Hannibal Rising'."
Translation: "I want you to look for information on an actor called Gaspard Ulliel. He was in an American film, 'Hannibal Rising'."

(The scenario was that my teacher was a new French student at my school and we had to do a project for French. I suggested something on modern French history focusing on the cinema, and Gaspard.)

Bella is awsome and beautiful. The name Isabella is beautiful- brown haird, fair skinned, slim. Wonderful. Edward seems rude in the beginning but when he falls in love with Bella, he is so captivating. I could NOT put this book down.
