I didn't see a topic like this... sooo....

We have to read 2 books a Semester in English class (which really isn't much) and I haven't read one for this semester yet, and I got to thinking the reason is because I only read in Study Hall.

So, when do you mostly end up reading? Before bed? During study hall? Randomly?
Detective
Mostly in the subway.

I usually read before sleeping. Kind of helps to fall asleep. In other situations, reading books have kept me up much too long until I finish them.
mishyerr
I read during almost every class I have, when I'm bored, and at bookstores.

^ Yeah, I tend to read during my classes; I get through about seventy to a hundred pages a day sometimes. laugh.gif My teachers.. don't tend to like that, though. whistling.gif But I also enjoy reading outside when it's nice or just in my bed at night before I go to sleep. It's so relaxing.

Where- Home
When- At night

School has ruined the funness of reading because I have a lot of assignments and projects associated with each piece of literature.

There is absolutely impossible to have a day when I can go home and not having to read anything for school, even in the summer I have summer reading and I need to write a report on every single chapter.

I read whenever I feel like it. I can go months without reading but then all of a sudden, I'll pick up a book and just read it nonstop. And continue to read until I don't feel like reading anymore.

And I usually read at home, in my room. I can't read in the car because it makes me car sick.
medicineforluck
I usually read before bed and try to squeeze some time at school (like when the teacher is talking ohmy.gif )
I also read when i'm waiting for someone that takes really really long... whistling.gif

I read at home anytime in the day. Mostly before I go to sleep. Oh, & when I'm waiting for a webpage to load/a friend to IM back, I read & get through a couple of pages. xd

And also, when I read, I can't have the tv or music on because I can get easily distracted.
Jinny
always late at night, usually before i sleep.

I second that. Actually, I became an insomniac for a while because of a certain series... mellow.gif

I sometimes read on the subway after school. If I'm really bored in class, I read the book under the desk or hidden behind my textbook. I also like to read in my room and in the bathroom. :x I mostly like to read at night before I go to bed.

Yeah, that ALWAYS happens to me. I get distracted really easily. Sometimes it's hard for me to read in study hall if some people are talking or something.

Occasionally I like to read before I go to bed, but the internet has ruined that for me tongue.gif
OhMyAnniee
I like reading when I'm in bed before I go to sleep.

I end up reading before bed, and every day 6th period (since its required by school).
My Cinderella.

Every day sixth period.. by school? blink.gif It's not just a study hall? There's a period where they actually make you.. read?

I usually read at home, before I go to sleep. Sometimes, though, there are times at school when I have a few extra minutes, so I read then. But, it's usually before bed.
cathylawlzz
i read in my homeroom class.
only because it's boring.
and every time i'm finished with an assignment
early and got nothing else to do,
i read.

thus, barely reading at home.
it's amazing how fast you read at school though hahaha. :)

Later at night since I procrastinate, usually if it's a book for school.
If not, then I'll read it any chance I get because I only get the good books. So I know I'll finish them in like a day or two.
LOWinSKANK
;[ i hardly read anymore!
but usually at night in bed when i can`t sleep. that`s about it. ;x

I usually read IN school. If my classes are mad boring, I read leisure books. The books I actually have to read for school though, I read at home. So it's like... reversed. hahaha.

And I usually read before I go to bed on weeknights. On weekends, I have more time, so I usually read in the afternoon, sometimes the morning and every once in a while I'll read throughout the whole day.
Saeglopur
The bathroom. :x

I like reading anywhere and whenever it's quiet; the library, my room, midnight reading in bed, or waking up early to read and falling back asleep. Reading is an innocent and effective way of procrastinating, methinks. thumbsup.gif
StanleyThePanda
I read sometimes before bed, but usually whenever I am at the mall (Barnes&Noble <3). _smile.gif

I usually read either before bed, or if I wake up early on Saturdays and feel too lazy to get up yet _smile.gif
KissMe2408

I read in class, when we're not doing anything or when the teacher is teaching and I already know the thing's it's going over, and in my room, when there's nothing to do.
alysaphobia

Evening, after homework on my bed.
Or on the school bus.
Duchess of Dork
Unless I'm completely engrossed, Sunday mornings is my reading time. If it's nice outside, I'll read on the porch. If not, living room.
LennonLime
wherever, whenever. I just love to read. happy.gif
clarity
I hardly read ever, sadly. Most of my reading is done in English though.
