I'm currently reading a shoujo manga called Vampire Knight. Does anyone else read it? It's featured in the magazine Shojo Beat quite a bit, but that's not how I heard of it. All the girls on another forum I'm a member of were obsessed with these bishies called Zero and Kaname from VK and I thought I'd see what was so great about the series.

Now I see why they like the series so much. Zero and Kaname look awesome. :D The storyline is also very good. I wonder if Yuuki will end up with either of them.

I'm pulling for Zero. Idk, but I'm not really a fan of those princely types. I mean, they're sweet and all, but I love the unusual bishies. The underdogs.

Yeah, I want ZeroxYuuki too. Kaname is nice but he's not Yuuki's type at all. He's too quiet and reserved; you don't know what he feels about Yuuki except that she's the only human girl he bothers with. The only thing that I wouldn't like about Zero and Yuuki getting together is that they're the chairman's adopted children, so it'd be semi-incestuous even though they're not blood siblings.

HAHA! You know what? I never thought of it as incestuous in any form or fashion, so it shocked me a bit to see you say that. I don't think of them as being siblings, adopted or not. I think of them as being two unlucky beings that were taken in by the generous chairman.

And while I DEFINITELY favor Zero x Yuuki, I'm still a bit curious as to how Kaname's feelings for Yuuki will affect his behavior. He's so damned controlled, as most aristocrats are schooled to be. It kind of gets on my nerves. I want to see someone crack through that shell and get to what he's really made of. It may sound strange, but it's some perverse interest of mine.

btw, Zero is so freaking sexy. It's just no natural. And I do attribute some of it to that beautiful tattoo on his neck.

Yeah, I didn't used to think of them that way either but I just randomly remembered yesterday while I was screaming internally at Zero to kiss Yuuki (yes, I'm crazy ) that they were "brother" and "sister." So then I was like, "Wait...did the mangaka do that purposely then? And in that case, I guess they can't get together after all. "

I really, really want to know what Kaname feels about Yuuki. On Shojo Beat's page for Vampire Knight, it says something about his infatuation with her. I thought, "...WHAT infatuation? They hardly even talk! -.-" If he does have romantic feelings for her, he's hiding them VERY well. Too well.

Have you read scanlations for the series? In later chapters things become more clear in terms of who has feelings for who.

And I'm not at all opposed to Zero and Yuuki getting together. They're not related by blood, so it's all good.

The funny thing was that I first heard of Matsuri Hino from her manga "Wanted", then I read MuriPuri and then came Vampire Knight. Of course, that's based on my first-access timeline. I don't know which came first.

Anyway, Zeroooooo <3333 Vampire Knight's really good. I read a few scanlations before I had access to shojobeat.

I heard about this manga from someone else on another forum and I haven't gotten the chance to read it yet, but it definitely looks good. I actually dreamt about it before I even read it... so I guess that's a sign that I should read it... and soon. lol.
