This is stupid, but it seems like everything I post here is completely overlooked. Which now that I think of it so is probably this post. People hardly ever respond to my threads. Especially when I need help and they've been there for about a week. Are they really that uninteresting or stupid? Sorry I just had to say it. I really hope no one has anything against me.

I doubt anyone hates you or anything.
Though, people who do things other than just post, post, post around here do seem to get more attention around here. This would pretty much be like any other social community. The more known you are, the more you get heard out.

Then how would you get to know someone if you never give them a chance? If I responded only to the peole I knew on here I wouldn't bbe posting anywhere.
But thank YOU for responding.

Trust me, it's most likely it's not a personal thing. Most times if someone doesn't have anything to speak on the topic they simply don't reply. At least, it's like that with me.

Yeah, it's definately not a personal thing. I wonder the same thing too from time to time... but the more you post and participate, the more attention you're likely to get. Alot of people on here form close relationships... so I'm sure that has alot to do with it.

Well, that's the thing. A lot of people here will bother getting to know someone only if they want to. Simply posting and replying isn't really all that interesting, unless your posts are unique or have some good content. I, for one, would like to get to know some people not based on their posts, but their talents, such as some awesome graphic designers.
Or, you could get more involved in the community by participating in the chat, events such as the Spring Fling, and sometimes even the Sandbox helps get closer to the community.

As far as help topics, sometimes they sit around for a while because people don't really know how to answer your questions. They might have the same problems as you, or are not familiar with what you are asking. Your posts aren't overlooked... but the more you post around the more known you'll become.

^ Yea exactly. I only reply to help topics I can actually help the person in. If I were you I would pretty much be ok with the fact that people don't reply. Would you rather have someone who doesn't know how to help you post and get your hopes up?
But pretty much like everyone said I doubt its anything personal. Its just that we don't know what to say or how to help.

I don't post if I don't identify with the topic or don't feel like there's anything for me to contribute. It's nothing against you, promise.

Especially recently. The whole forum's activity has gone down. I mean, there are whole subforums that get one or two posts a day.

If people haven't responded to your topics, it's not because they don't like you. It's because they don't know what to say or how to help. Don't worry, we didn't all meet up in a chat and agree to not reply to your topics.

True.
Some people just don't feel like posting.
They rather lurk and read.
I know I'd much prefer to do that, but then people would think i'm inactive.
although with help, I stand by with what Dee said.
