ok so I've kinda liked this one guy for a few months on and off we'll call him kyle, and kyle has known my best friend of about a year for about 4 years, we'll call her amy. so i noticed them starting to flirt and i always denied it to myself cause she's had a boyfriend for over a year now. but now my other best friend "tanya" heard from amy's friend "sasha" 'that amy really does like kyle.

oh and amy has been acting weird lately, like she gets jealous when guys give me more attention than her. and amy's friend sasha also said, the reason for amy being weird to me, is because amy feels threatened by me, about kyle. and i guess amy doesnt know for sure that i like kyle, but she thinks it, enough to be threatened by it i guess.

in short,
my best friend and i are fighting over the same boy.

what should i do?
go for it,

Umm she has a boyfriend =S What she's doing can be considered as cheating.

He's still free. Get to know him better =) And take things from there.

well... i really don't think your friend amy should even be considering getting together with kyle if she has a boyfriend.

but as long as it's not like amy told you she liked kyle way before you did, you should just go for it. she doesn't own him and neither do you.

I totally agree with what everyone else has said.

If she has a boyfriend, she shouldn't be thinking about another boy.
It's possible she's bored with her boyfriend, if it's been longer than a year.

But, you should totally go for it, IMO.
Well, obviously you should talk to 'kyle', to see who he likes.

well ive been in the same exact situation and i knew my friend was jealous and we talked about it and she constantly kept telling me she didnt like the guy tht we both liked. so later on she started to hate me and we got into a huge fight about nothing...but honelsty if this girl has a boyfriend then forget her, u get yours...but if you and this girl are really close then you two should try to talk it out. but sometimes even talking it out wont always solve the problem. sometimes you just have to be the bigger person and see how things go.
