Ok, I have a friend named jordan and he always says he loves me and he wants to marry me, but i don't like him. He is so annoying and self centered it's crazy! What do I do to make him stop? ...Without hurting his feelings. :(

You could be subtle about it. Don't give in to what he says? It might just depend on how close you are and how he is as a person. I have some guy friends that if I was blunt with them they'd get it and it wouldn't bother them all that much and then I have friends who are sensitive. You could always try the blunt approach. haha.

Well, he can be joking, I guess. But if he's not, just.. talk it over with him.

There isn't really any way you can do it without hurting his feelings in some way, if he's serious of course. Just tell him as nice as possible that you don't like him that way, and make sure there's no mixed messages.

lol, sometimes you have to be harsh to be nice? that's what i always say. my friend was just recently the same way. i mean, i tried to be nice about it and just tell him that i really wasn't feeling him that way you know? he didn't really get the picture, so i had to drag my boyfriend into the situation and what not, and i just like cussed him out and told him i didn't like him at all. lol i mean, you don't have to do that. just tell him that you really really don't like him and you'd appreciate it if he would stop nagging you and just be your friend. :]

Honestly the best way of telling him IS hurting his feelings, as bad as it feels to do so, sometimes it's the only way...

You just need to tell him how you feel. If it makes you uncomfortable, you should confront him about it--whether he's kidding or not.
