So I'm thinking about purchasing a laptop, but of course I would run into all of these warranty and security offers. LoJack being one of them.
Anyone know much about how LoJack works, and if it's even worth paying for it?
One thing in particular that bothers me about LoJack is that they say that if they don't recover your laptop, that they'll refund you the full price of the software. What the heck? I care about the computer not the software.

No, it's not worth it.
They just have a tracking system and you install their software on your computer. They use the software to track down your computer.
If you think you're definitely gonna lose it or if you have $50 to blow every year, get it.

Meh, just be extra careful with your computer. That's the best insurance policy you can invest in.
