Well I go in to my 4th period today only to be sitting there enough to hear the assignment for the day and the power goes out completely. Of course the room I'm in doesn't have any windows at all and its a cooking class, so Oh great theres knives too All I hear is ear shattering screams from the girls across the room.

Apparently, the school lost all its power completely. The policy has been changed recently so when the power goes off if it stays off for atleast an hour then they have to let evacuate the school. Of course earlier it use to be around 10-20 minutes. I had to sit in a classroom for an hour with people screaming constantly and it echoing through out the classroom. Some girl went as far as to go around with a flash light and scream at every one saying if you have sex I'll find you Very awkward.

To the point, my school was evacuated today for I don't know what reason but once everyone was taken out of the school we had about 5-10 firetrucks come and the fire alarms going off all over campus.

Has something like this every happened to your school? Or have you ever had to be evacuated out of school for something?

nope.. the only time we get to have a 'real' evacuation is when there is a bomb threat.. which happened like twice in one year when i went to middle school.. other than that,nah. Unless you count fire drills. oh wait.. i think this one time this kid took a lot of laxatives and clogged the toilet in the guys bathroom (which flooded unto the hallways). haha.. they just closed the floor down.

In 8th grade we all had to sit outside the school because there was a threat written on a bathroom stall. It sucked major butt.

Last year was really scary for me because there was a senior and two freshmen kids who got picked on they brought their guns to school. It was during 7th period and I was walking down to another room during class and the three boys were out in the parking lot and got their guns and were headed to the school. Luckily, the cameras caught them and the school called for help. I would've been the first person they saw. It scared the crap out me just thinking about what would've happened if we didn't have cameras...

I honestly think they would've shot me. I saw them get tackled and all and it scared me.

We had to have a lockdown (not quite an evacuation) because there was a cougar threat or runaway robber threat or something. No one believed it.

Once, they evacuated school about 10 minutes before first period actually started, just to see how everyone would react. And it was freezing outside! The teachers just sat in their classrooms

My school is boring. We only have occasional fire drills and shelter drills.

Maybe my state is weird. We have a tornado drill on Wednesday and then we have fire drills often and other little things. We've had plenty of intruder things and we have drills for those too. We've had plenty of bomb threats throughout the county too.

We just have fire drills and sometimes earthquake drills. Boring school..

Besides your usual fire drills, and for us tornado drills, we had to evacuate the school earlier this year because of a bomb threat. I didn't mind missing sixth and seventh period, but man was it hot outside! I don't think the guy/girl who made the call ever got caught...

^Haha, yea we had a bomb threat this morning actually Such a weird start of a week.

ugh one time, some idiot wrote on the bathroom wall.. something about a bomb. so we all had to evacuate for a longggg time and it was really hot. UGHH

and like last week, there was a fire in the boys bathroom, idk how it got there, but we had to evacuate the building for only 15 minutes or so.

i hate stupid people who cause trouble =/
