When I crimp it, it looks too.. well, duh, crimped.
But my friend has naturally wavy hair and I dont know how to get it like that without making it too zig-zaggy. haha.

There are a few ways I think.

- Use rollers at night, in the morning take them out and use hairspray.

- Spray hair with spray gel, use a large barrel curling iron, then shake out.

- Use a round ceramic brush and wrap hair around it when blow drying.

sleep with a loose messy bun. i do this.
sometimes for extra mess i smudge in some garnier fructis "surf hair" cream.

you can put your hair in braids when your hair is slightly damp. hairspray. sleep. take out your braids. your wave size will depend on the size of the braids you choose to make (duh). and probably do more than two. lol

Looking for a little wave?
If your hair is naturally straight, achieving a soft wave is easier than you think. Prepare wet hair for the look by using Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Body Builder Volumizing Mousse. Dry your hair upside down to get some lift at the root, scrunching in an upward motion with your hands to add a little bit of texture throughout. Once hair is completely dry, separate hair into one-inch sections and using the Braun Smoothstyler Cordless Styler, place the ends into the curling iron and roll it upwards into the base of the hair. Do this all over your head and you've got the soft waves you're looking for.

Perm? Ahhh just make sure you dont do that. I had a perm when I was younger, and trust me. It never works out. xD

Maybe try sleeping in rollers? Or maybe after you wash your hair at night, put your wet hair up into tiny, tight buns? And then sleep with them in?

Eeek idk, my hair's naturally TOO wavy. pinch.gif

>_< Oh yeah. For anybody who uses curling mousse or whatever, can someone guide me on how to 'scrunch' your hair for that look? I've been told by a friend that she scrunches her hair. I showed her pics of what I want it to look like, but she is just way too bad at explaining.

Ah, yes, and if you want pics too, here are the links:

The easiest way for me to do my friends hair, if their hair is very straight, is to do it with a large curling iron, and hair spray.

As far as 'scrunching' your hair goes, it's very simple.

If you have curly hair, just put gel in it, while it's wet, and.. scrunch.
I hope you don't need an explanation for that.
o.o

My hair's curly, but I usually straighten it.
