Hockey is a sport with loose rules regarding what's considered dangerous physical contact between players, that's all. I guess it's a matter of personal tastes to like or dislike the game for that reason alone; as it would be to do so for the most utterly baseless racial motives as well.

I'm actually a big fan of hockey, ice hockey, because of the pushing and shoving. It is a good stress reliever. Field hockey is too plain for me.
And, uh, yea. I'm a girl and Asian. So it is not just a white male sport.

Jesus, there is no getting to you. How do you bring the 'white man' into this topic too?
Here's a one word argument for you:

first of all... i'd really appreciate if you typed correctly.
second... it's not completely a "white sport"...
third, if there was no enjoyment in it at all, why would people be playing it?
and lastly, i'm sure there are other sports that have more dangerous injury risks involved.

I love the fights that break out at hockey games. That's usually why I go...to see the fights. I walk out like, man the Sabres DOMiNATED that boxing match. Ohhhh yeah. The other team didn't stand a chance! And when someone asks me, so who won the game? I'm like...what game? Oh...you mean hockey...yeah I wasn't paying attention to the score. The fights were awesome though...there were like fifteen of them...
Just kidding. That's what my friend said about hockey.
A good friend of mine plays hockey. I'd go and cheer him on if he didn't play so far away! I personally think hockey is an interesting sport. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Foundation of modern hockey
Ice hockey at McGill University, Montreal, 1901.The foundation of the modern game centres on Montreal. On March 3, 1875 the first organized indoor game was played at Montreal's Victoria Skating Rink by James George Aylwin Creighton and several McGill University students. In 1877, several McGill students, including Creighton, Henry Joseph, Richard F. Smith, W.F. Robertson, and W.L. Murray codified seven ice hockey rules. The first ice hockey club, McGill University Hockey Club, was founded in 1877.[11]
I don`t think they should die, even though they are already dead.

inventing an original sport is a big deal!
