I just like songs that pump me up.

may i suggest throwing some Van Halen and Steriogram in there
for fun, laid-back runs;; Pink Floyd is great for 'sound effects' if
you're into instrumental music and if you're hardXcore............
Smile Empty Soul (self-titled CD) sounds appropriate for the
terrain parks. but hey, that's just me.

I don't ski or snowboard but this song (link) pumps me up when I listen to it. Skateboarders in my area listen to it all the time. (I'm not a skateboarder either :P)
