have you ever met someone and you just instantly click with that person? not just click as in get along but just instant, intense attraction to each other. not just physical attraction. it's kinda like love at first sight... but not love.

if you feel that attraction, would you act on it? i mean, how often would someone find another person that they can instantly become attracted to and feel like... you've known each for a really long time... even forever?

sorry if it's a double topic.

This happend to me last night.
It was one of my boyfriends friends. See if I didn't have a boyfriend and my boyfriend did not even exist and his friend didn't have a girl he would be the one I would ask out.
I kinda feel bad.
I just couldn't stop staring at him. He kept staring back at me.
I kinda liked it. o_O Now I feel really bad.

^don't feel bad... at least not that bad. as long as you don't act on it.

i had(have) the same kinda situation. i've been with my boyfriend for nearly three years. then at a friends party i met this guy. even before i met him, i knew i felt different... like attraction. and then when i met him... i knew it was him.

This happens to me alot. I just somehow start talking to the person and somehow, it seem like we know each other completely.

Yeah I had that with my current boyfriend. First time in my life, so naturally I acted on it seeing as I had nothing to lose.. lol. Been together for 1.5 years

I feel that way a lot. Towards guys and gals.
But I usually regard that feeling as me just
realizing somewhere in my head that
I had myself an amazing person
I'm able to connect with.

I try not to act on those impulses like "I WANT
THIS PERSON TO BE MY SIGNIFIGANT OTHER".
I usually just make more effort to get to know
and be around that person and see more
of what they're like.

^Or so I hope. ermm.gif

If I felt that kind of attraction, I wouldn't act on it yet. I would ask to hang out with them again and see if we're able to click like that all the time. If I was sure that they felt the same way around me, then I might ask them out.

It only takes 1/10th of a second for some one to be attracted to another person... so it's not doubtful for a person to talk for a short time and be attracted to their personality. But it's not love like you said. You just have an attraction. Perfectly normal.

i wasn't just talking about attraction. it's everything from physical+emotional/everything.

like. you talk to that person and it's like you guys have been together, as in a couple, without really knowing that person that long.
AKAsuperconn
biggrin.gif That actually happened to me with my boyfriend now
we've been dating for almost 5 months and we cant get enough of each other

its super. laugh.gif
i say act upon it
good things happened for me

Hmmm.... I guess you could say that I don't have a personality that would allow to do that..
LOWinSKANK
my guards up way too much
to do that. and if something
like that happened to me, i`d
probably be scared &&like, run.

too much getting hurt in the
past, i suppose.
alysaphobia
that's happened to me before.
i usually act on it... i feel like i have to get to know the person better because i start getting infatuated. i really regret it when i don't get the chance to see this person again.

of course, i don't act on it like go up to them and ask them out.
i just ask them to hang out the next time i see them.
