Okay, well, just a few questions...

I'm 12, I have a gap in my teeth, and my old dentist and new one say i need to get braces to close the gap completely. my 12 year molars are coming in, and I've lost all my baby teeth, so 2 on the top are coming in (my canines)...I'm not sure I'd need braces to close it...PLUS my brother had a gap, but his closed...Of course, when I was lil, my gap was ABSOULUTELY HUGE! His wasn't. It's a trait in my family to have a gap, too. Anyway, if it turns out I really DO need the braces, I need to know...

*Cost?

*What type are cheaper?

*Which ones are easier to deal with?

*Do they hurt alot? cry.gif

*Any other random advice you feel like throwing in about braces. biggrin.gif

This may seem stupid, but I really do fret about my teeth, because I've always had white chompers, but the gap has been SO annoying! pinch.gif

I thank anyone willing to contribute advice to this post. _smile.gif

I've very glad that you're doing your research, hon', 'cause when I get mine, I knew nothing.

Buuut, we already have a Guide to Braces, it's really helpful and answers all of your questions. _smile.gif
