What's your favorite artistic medium?

I don't draw much, but I prefer pencils, regardless if they're colored or not. Paints are also fascinating for me, but a bit messy for my tastes. I've also always been interested in trying to sculpt something.

Pastels, pencils, and photography.

I can never draw with pencils, I smudge way too much. So, I prefer photography or clay modeling. I've always wanted to try sculpting.

I love using fine tip pens. 0.1-0.5 are the best.

Charcoal is great, pencil charcoal.

Acrylic paints are great too.

Oil pastels, love them.

Colored pencils are an old time favorite to work with. I just got out of Color Theory last quarter and if I never have to touch paint again I would not mind at all. I'm too clumsy with a paint brush and only make a mess.

most of the time, i just use my normal 'ticonderoga' pencil

Haha, I only like pencils. And those are the cheap 2B mechanical lead pencils that you can buy in Staples. I don't shade much or even draw much, I just doodle whatever I'm thinking of and then color it in. Kinda like lineart in PS.

The mediums I used are acrylic paint, oil pastels, and digital painting.
But pencils are good too!

pencils for sure. i've tried all the fancy stuff, but every art work of mine starts off with pencil first. its a must.

I've always wanted to sculpt, as well. I have a good feeling for shape and texture, and I don't particularly enjoy the effects of a bad stroke with paint or with oil pastels.

I use markers, although I have the color coordination of Blind Lemon Jefferson (after he was diagnosed with colorblindness).

Therefore I only use the black marker XD.

Velvet paper is amazing, too.

Well, people say my drawing is a little more than average, but I really can't draw for shiznits. So I guess my only hope in art is through graphic design and digital photography.
