So if you've noticed on many websites there is a banner, I'm going to design the banner in photoshop. So I was wondering what size (pixels) should i make it. Help please

It really depends on what you're aiming for. Here's a list of many standard banner sizes and not-so-standard sizes that are commonly used. Again, it depends on you and you shouldn't let a banner size restrict your creativity. Good luck! (:
