Bad news Grey's fans. Dr. Izzie Stevenson may be checking out of the hospital!

According to People magazine, Katherine Heigl has dropped out of contract talks with Grey's Anatomy over salary.

"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," a well-placed source says.

Now, you can take this many ways. You can take it at face value or.....

1) Heigl is using this as an excuse to jump ship because she knows the show is sinking
2) She's uncomfortable working with Isaiah Washington
3) Kat wants to do films
or
4) The most likely scenario is that her "camp" leaked this information as a ploy to force ABC/Touchstone's hand in the contract negotiation. And, hopefully they will step up to the plate and pay her what she (thinks she) deserves.

Either way, this is not good news for the show, which has been suffering a string of negative publicity lately.

Time to start watching House on Fox (if you don't already)!

I swear that Izzie and George have got (or had?) SOMETHING going on. Or else they're just really, really...really good friends (or they used to be?)



But I agree in that, Izzie should stop focusing on George-and-Callie and save Alex from Addison.

Well, considering T.R. Knight is gay, I doubt that they have something going on. But they're really good friends, she defends him more fiercely than anyone else on the cast.
