i was wonderin if there is a tutorial on making things fade such as brushes, pictures, etc. like it starts off strong and then it kinda fades away you know?

yea dats good but im looking for other examples because that would be difficult to do with a brush or something. and its kinda of defficult for me to do with a regular image. or there any other ways?

not quite because that just makes it smaller if u drag the brush. im talking about an image that looqs like it had opacity applied to the ends

if you're using photoshop, select the rectangle tool, then make the feathering around 50px, select the whole image (ctrl+a), ctrl+alt+i (or whatever keys it is to invert it) then press delete. I think that's it.

why would you feather a shape and then select the whole thing after? it defeats the purpose...
