just something i wrote a few days ago. i think yesterday? anyway..this is for a friend, and every line is kind of a meaning for something in her life.

she filled her bath with roses
showered her body with their petals
ripped the thorns from their stems
and cut her life away

first line: her boyfriend, the rose in her life.
second line: how he treats her, his love to her.
third line: the words that he said to hurt her.
fourth line: what the words do to her.
