alright, so about 2 days ago, i skipped lunch so i could finish my homework at the school library. ever since then, i havent felt hungry.
AT ALL.
and i dont know what's wrong.
im not sick or anything, either.
im just..not eating.
anyone know why?
ps- oops. i just realized that this should probably go into health. i just put it in the first place i thought of: food.

Perhaps your body has started to adjust to keeping the hunger in. I doubt it's a disorder. Have you tried eating or do you feel sick when you do?

If I go on an "anorexic" diet (for the lack of a better phrase), my hunger goes away after a few hours. I think my stomach just gives up and is like "f**k that."

Although you didn't mention anything about attempting to lose weight, if you do try to lose weight through yo-yo dieting, it will only end up making you gain in the end.
But, try to eat a little; that might open up your hunger. It might even be painful x_X if it is, then drink something warm first.. and eat slowly.

I have that kind of problem. But mine is serious. I think that your body knows that you aren't going to eat so it digests more slowly, so you won't feel hungry.
As for me, I can go for weeks (like 2 months) without eating. I don't know why. I know that my metabolism is really slow which is probably the reason. I'm getting it check out tomorrow.

TWO MONTHS?!
That's insane!
And scary. :/ I hope things are okay with your body or something.

Ive done that before. Ever since I started high school, I would have loads more homework, so I would give up my lunch to finish it. Then it ended up I wouldnt eat till that night. I would just eat once a day. Your body just begins to get used to it, but now I hate it. Im really tired and angry/sad. Then I eat something, then im fine. Just try and remember to get three meals a day.

i never had this problem. But i never have time to eat breakfast, and now i rarely eat lunch. Except for a cookie. Then i have dinner.
I could go without eating for the entire day, but i have to eat dinner.

No, you'd die after a week.

^ thats a little scary.
yea, i have been tryint to eat. like, little things. a candy bar, or some fritos. i can finish the candy bar but i cant finish my 2 oz bag of fritos. i get full. even if i havent eaten much.
and no, im definitely not tryint to lose weight. i should actually be trying to gain weight because im 5'7" and only about 102. actually, i havent weighed myself. so, i may actually be lower.
i skipped lunch that day because i wasnt hungry. the people that know me really well know that i love to eat. i wouldnt have skipped lunch to do homework if i was actually hungry.
oh, and i get like..hunger groans in my stomach. when it starts to like..rawr. but i dont feel that "hunger-please-feed-me-some-food" sensations. even the smell of really good food doesnt tempt me.
however, tomorrow..im gonna try to go to chipotle and eat something.
and, i have been drinking tons of liquids. so, i guess that's a good thing?

^it's good that you're drinking liquids and you've been trying to eat (: though your body can't last on just liquids/fluids and candy bars/chips. sure, the candy might give you a bit of energy but it's not gonna be enough. see what happens when you go to chipotle tomorrow...and if it doesn't work, you might want to get checked out by a doctor. >.> i hope you get betterr

Well, if you're drinking liquids, then you're probably not going completely hungry.
Maybe you should try to slow down on the liquids, then try to eat something? You may not have been able to eat the bag of chips from being too full from the liquids.

Gahh...I had sumthin like this about 1/2 of last year. My ex had broken up with me & ever since I had lost almost all my appetite. I was about 135lbs & when I finally realized how much of an affect it had in my life, I was no more than 110lbs. & thats alot of weight to lose! & like you I'm 5'7 so you can sorta understand the drastic changes of my body.
I barely ate & when I tried I wouls have to force myself because I never felt hungry. I suggest you just eat lil mini meals. Maybe about 6 instead of the normal 3 a day. I meal can be a small plate of whatever or a lil ziplock bag of sumthin if you're on the go. Eventually that built up my appetite & now I'm in my 120 sumthin lbs.
